Tomasz graduated from the Faculty of Law at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan. Tomasz started his professional career with Arthur Andersen’s Tax Department in 1999. After Andersen and Ernst & Young combined their operations he worked for the Tax Department at Ernst & Young in Poznań.

Tomasz is a licensed tax adviser (entry no. 09946).

Tomasz has taken part in numerous comprehensive projects concerning M&A advice and tax efficient business structures planning. He has developed procedures that aimed at mitigating tax risks connected with business operations. Tomasz is representing various Clients before tax authorities and administrative courts in tax proceedings. He has successfully assisted a number of Clients in numerous proceedings concerning claims for refund of overpaid tax.

Tomasz is a co-author of the latest edition of the Commentary on the OECD Model Tax Convention (published in 2010). He is an author of a number of articles and publications both in the dailies (e.g. Gazeta Prawna, Rzeczpospolita, Puls Biznesu) and professional magazines (e.g. Monitor Podatkowy, Pharma Poland News).

Tomasz carried out numerous tax training sessions, conferences and seminars. He has also worked as an independent expert in the tax legislative process.
