Marcin completed his Master’s and Ph.D studies at the University of Economics in Poznań. He graduated from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting of Enterprises. He started his career in September 2000 and joined the audit and business advisory department of Arthur Andersen. He worked there until June 2002. From July 2002 to November 2009 he worked in the audit and business advisory department of Ernst&Young as a Manager since 2005 and as a Senior Manager since 2008.

He has vast professional experience in audits and reviews of stand-alone and consolidated financial statements drawn up in accordance with the Polish, international (IFRS), German and French accounting principles.

He also took part in engagements relating to implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations, due diligence projects, advisory on mergers and acquisitions as well as other business advisory services. He worked for Clients operating in manufacturing, service-provision and retail trade industries, mostly in food processing, real estate, municipal and agricultural sectors.

He is a certified auditor registered on the list of certified auditors under number 10667. He is also a registered candidate for supervisory board members; such register is kept by the Minister of the State Treasury.

Court expert by the District Superior Court in Poznan, in the fields of: economic analysis, economy, bookkeeping, accounting, finance and taxes.

Since February 2011 Associate Member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). Since July 2013 Member of the ACFE Advisory Council.

Certified Internal Controls Auditor (CICA), member of The Institute for Internal Controls (TheIIC). Member of the Management Board of the IIC Poland Chapter.”

In 2006-2009, he was a technical trainer on audit and review methodology used by Ernst&Young for newly recruited employees in Central and Western Europe. He also performed training sessions and workshops on International Financial Reporting Standards. He is an author of numerous press publications (in the Gazeta Prawna, Puls Biznesu dailies).
